The story

Control began as one developer’s way to keep working on a Mac in Abu Dhabi from an iPhone in India. Today it carries most of his day: he steers AI coding agents on that Mac by voice, checks builds and answers the notifications they send, over 5G, in sittings of a few minutes.

Fill the Screen reshapes the Mac to the display you’re holding. You dictate straight into any Mac app. A trackpad and a full set of keys live on the glass, the Mac’s sound comes with it, and your iPhone or iPad can become an extra display for the Mac. On Apple Vision Pro, the Mac is a window as big as you like.

There is no account. You pair once with a QR code, and on your own Wi‑Fi Control is free and always will be. Away from home, Remote reaches your Mac peer to peer, falling back to a private relay on networks that block that, and everything is encrypted end to end, so only your Mac and your devices can read it.
